CHA AM is a sleepy seaside town near the city of Hua Hin, Thailand, and has long been loved by Thais as a weekend holiday retreat as much for its seafood restaurants as it is for its endless beach that stretches as far as the eye can see in all directions. It is also popular with tourists from all over the world but especially those from Scandinavia and other (colder) parts of Europe as they escape northern-hemisphere winters…...
Due to Cha Am’s proximity to the Royal Summer Palace, the area is peaceful and relatively under-developed as a tourist centre, its attractions are more locally based in scope rather than focused solely on maximising tourist revenue. National Parks and Buddhist Temples abound for your exploration and admiration.
Despite the more ‘local’ nature of the town, Cha Am caters well for the holiday-maker with plenty of restaurants offering western cooking and a variety of outlets offering entertainment, sight seeing, organised activities and, of course, magnificent golf courses. You can even get a decent Cappuccino.
